CENTEGIX Teacher Advocate

When you need help, it shouldn’t be complicated.

Whether it’s a medical emergency, a behavioral incident, or a serious threat, getting support should be seamless.

You know what works in your school. And you know the moments when getting help isn't as simple as it should be. An incident happens, and suddenly you're trying to get the right person's attention while managing what's happening in front of you.

If you've ever thought there has to be a better way, you're right.

In an emergency, EVERY. SECOND. MATTERS.®

Getting help should be fast and seamless. And it shouldn't require you to step away from the person or situation that needs your attention.

That's why schools across the country are giving staff a more direct way to request immediate assistance, and helping responders know exactly who needs help and where.

Whether it's a medical emergency, a behavioral incident, or a serious campus-wide threat, the goal is simple: Stay present. Get help. Respond faster.

See how it works.

We looked at many solutions before selecting CENTEGIX. Often, technology doesn't work as advertised, or fees accumulate after signing an agreement, but that wasn't the case with CENTEGIX.

There were multiple staff members who pressed a button and there was an immediate response. And that quickness of response is something that made me feel much safer. And I'm glad to have this device now…We just received [CrisisAlert] last week, and we had a major incident on campus within a week—that shows just how important this response mechanism [is].

It empowers teachers to be in control of the safety of their room. They can summon a principal at the push of a button. We know where and we know who. That is a powerful technology.

This is a product that’ll benefit all staff in our district. And not just our teachers, but our custodians, our bus drivers, secretaries, food service, you name it. There’s a lot of other entities within a school district. And it allows us to provide that security—and, frankly, the quick response—for all staff.

What we’ve really seen is the value in medical distress situations. A teacher can stay with a student, press the badge and get help to that classroom quickly.

A school counselor suddenly started feeling unwell in her office. Her vision had become blurry and she couldn’t see the numbers on the phone to dial for help. Thankfully, was wearing her CrisisAlert badge and was able to use the panic alert button before losing consciousness. Story 4

A first grader at Leroy Massey Elementary began feeling ill during dismissal. As the Assistant Principal approached to check on him, he passed out near the bus circle. A nearby educator pressed their CENTEGIX CrisisAlert badge as the Assistant Principal rendered aid, and help arrived immediately. By the time the student was carried into the office, the ambulance was already on the way.
