In this report, CENTEGIX offers its latest, comprehensive analysis of school safety incidents gathered from our CrisisAlert™ usage data for the Fall 2022 school semester. A few highlights include:

• Campus-wide events are a small part of total alerts. Most alerts are for medical and behavioral emergencies.  
• Almost half of all safety incidents occur outside the classroom.
• Teachers continue to prefer the badge to call for help as opposed to traditional options.
• Discretion is crucial for de-escalation in behavioral incidents.
• CrisisAlert has 100% adoption by staff, which is critical for any mobile panic alert solution to be effective.

Additionally, we analyze survey feedback from staff who have used the platform to identify insights regarding school safety, including its impact on teacher well-being and job satisfaction, as well as students’ perceptions of safety at school.
