The Challenge
- On a Friday in October 2025, Kearney Public Schools (NE) was the target of a cyberattack that compromised their technology network.
- The attack caused most of the district’s technology, including phones, computers, and other network-dependent systems,to become unavailable.
The Solution
- Despite the attack affecting other systems, the district’s safety protocols were safeguarded by the CENTEGIX Safety Platform® emergency response system, which operates on its own private networks.
