CENTEGIX was founded on the idea that technology can create safer, more secure learning environments. Since 2016, the CENTEGIX team has evolved strategically to support the needs of a growing business. Our team has experience in a variety of technology companies and across stages from start-up to early stage growth to large enterprise.

Over 50% of our employees have been referred by team members and roughly 10% of our team members have prior military service.

Our founder Daniel Dooley has had an extensive career dedicated to delivering technology to improve the K-12 education experience to enhance learning outcomes. His interactions with school superintendents increasingly led to conversations about safety and security. As the rate of incidents – from the everyday medical issue or student altercation to the extreme mass shooting – continued to increase, district administrators searched for solutions to help them protect students and staff. Funds were being spent on prevention; however, incidents continued to happen. Schools needed a way to get help quickly in an incident; an effective solution for incident response was lacking. Incidents are going to happen and the faster everyone involved can respond appropriately, the better the opportunity to manage the outcome.  In a crisis, every second matters.

Those conversations inspired a search for an effective solution that led to the technology in our CrisisAlert™ platform. In 2018, CENTEGIX began to build the core CrisisAlert product and make it available to school districts in 2019.

Superintendents and school security professionals demonstrated strong interest in CrisisAlert because of its unique abilities to deliver total campus coverage, location accuracy, immediate notification, and multi-sensory alerting. We now protect students and staff in over 1000 schools across the country, including 1 in 4 public school students in the state of Georgia.

We are building a reputation as not only an innovator of technology, but also as a thought leader in security for public spaces. We host forums to bring together school district Superintendents and Chiefs of Security from across the country to share best practices.

A major hotel operator opened the door for our expansion into the hospitality vertical in Q4 2019. Hotel operators – like superintendents – have a goal of increasing safety for their staff. CrisisAlert was chosen over the industry leader in hospitality security, after an extensive evaluation of competitive solutions by the hotel operator, because of its unique ability to cover every square foot of a hotel property, ease of installation, proactive service management and monitoring, along with direct 911 integration and competitive pricing.

We are now expanding into other verticals, including healthcare, government, and the corporate office marketplace.
